Building Community through Peer Support, Education and Research

Learn skills to support someone who is experiencing a decline in their mental wellbeing, and respond in the event of a crisis.
This 9-hour training has 3 parts:

A 2-hour at-home, asynchronous module,
-
Two (2) 3.5-hour synchronous modules, which can be completed in one full-day, or two half-days (within 14 days of each other).
From Support House's Centre for Innovation in Peer Support, this 30 hour certificate covers essential peer support training skills to equip you to implement your lived experience in ways that can support others.

Tracy brings the material to life through her personal experience, as well as her expertise as a practicing peer supporter.


Tracy has been involved with several community-based research projects in the role of patient partner, research intern, research assistant. and research coordinator.
Tracy is currently enrolled in McMaster University's Graduate Diploma in Community-Engaged Research and Evaluation to enhance her skills in these areas.​​
